These guys are soooo pretty. Their colors range from a bright highlighter pink, to bubblegum pink, to a beautiful pastel peachy. Their body is a pink/red and their shells are pink or pearly.
The smaller snails in the second picture are about the size I usually send, younger snails can adapt to new tanks better and you get to enjoy your new aquarium buddy as long as possible!
They will grow to about 1" and have a lifespan of 1-3 years. Super easy to keep, they thrive in any planted or community tank. Just be sure to provide them with some extra calcium to keep their shells healthy and clear.
They are hermaphrodites (can reproduce with each other or alone) and are super easy to breed. They lay small clutches of eggs on plant leaves or sometimes on the aquarium glass. The eggs hatch in about two weeks and the clutch disappears, no need to scrape anything nasty away. There are usually about 10 baby snails per clutch. When they hatch they are microscopic and hide out in the substrate eating the tiniest pieces of yuck from your tank.
Very peaceful guys to keep in a community tank, they won't hurt any other invertebrates or fishies. Be aware that some species of fish may find them a tasty snack though!
They are constantly working to keep the tank clean by eating algae and any uneaten food that settles to the bottom. I also frequently see these guys "surfing" at the top of the tank to slurp up any surface film that forms. They are a very effective cleaning crew!
**I ship juvenile snails once I think I can tell what color they will turn out to be when adults. Since are still juveniles, their color may shift over time as they get older. These may become brighter pink/red or fade to a beautiful pastel.**

i received 5 snails, some hornwort, and guppy grass. packaging was good, however ups put it in my mailbox and delivered really late, so i had to rush out of work to ensure they wouldn’t burn to death. but that’s ups. Evergreen aquatics did amazing and i will definitely buy from here again!
