These snails spend their time climbing terrain and burrowing in the substrate. They help prevent the buildup of toxic gas bubbles in your aquarium's substrate and tirelessly churn the sand to prevent it from becoming packed down. They also eat leftover fish food or algae to keep your tank spotless!
These guys are live bearers, capable of reproducing miniature replicas of the adult snail, rather than laying eggs all over.
I send them out as young snails as they tend to be better suited to adjust to new aquariums and have a longer lifespan. I also always toss in a few extra snails just in case of rough shipping and handling.

The snails arrived after seven days in the mail. They were dead, and when I reached out to the shop, they didn’t respond to my email.

WOW. Every snail, healthy and lively! Not babies, not full adults, more in the middle which is perfect because they handled the trip exceptionally well and they reach reproductive age quickly. Along with the snails in a separate ziplock came multiple gift plants which were also exceptionally healthy. Frogbit, Coontail, and duckweed. By the way I ordered over Christmas meaning naturally my order took longer due to Holiday closures, and yet everything came as if I had simply picked it out of an aquarium moments before. Seriously, I've ordered a lot of plants and animals online before and never, never, NEVER have I experienced such incredible quality. If you can't tell, I'm very blown away and will be returning to order more from Evergreen Aquatics in the future. My snails hit the sand and immediately got to work, such a stark difference from past experiences. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT! 🙌

These are the cutest snails! I ordered 2 thinking I would get 2 snails and possibly an extra one, but I got 19 snails! I don’t know why I got so many so I put 4 in my 3 gallon tank with my betta and the rest in my 10 which does need some snail love. They all were alive and immediately kicked into action. I love sitting on my stool and watching them snail around.
